Ted Horbulyk is an associate professor of economics at the University of Calgary. His research interests include the economics of environment, agriculture and development, especially issues of water resource allocation, pricing and scarcity. He has been active in water resources and development research in North and Central America and in Asia. Horbulyk holds PhD and MA degrees in economics from Queen's University, Kingston, and an honours degree in agricultural economics from the University of British Columbia. Horbulyk is a Professional Agrologist, and has five years' prior professional experience in government and the private sector. He was formerly co-editor of the Canadian Journal of Agricultural Economics. Ted is a Network Investigator with the Canadian Water Network and was previously a Theme Leader with the Alberta Ingenuity Centre for Water Research.
