I joined UBC in 2007, after teaching for seven years at Acadia University in Nova Scotia. My primary research and teaching interests are in environmental and natural resource economics, with a special focus on the economics of water resources. Beyond the university, I enjoy almost anything outdoors that involves some exertion. You can easily distract me by talking about mountaineering, skiing, mountain biking, etc. However, a conversation about golf or fishing probably won't last that long.
