WEPGN researchers investigate a broad range of challenges and issues in water management from the lens of social and related sciences. Projects are organized under three broad thematic areas. Research projects under the Knowledge and Decision-Making theme build knowledge from communities’ experiences with water challenges and how different ways of knowing can contribute to improved decision-making and governance. Research concentrations for this theme include: managing threats to drinking water (e.g. agricultural runoff); integrated models to support improved decision-making.
