These are a few of the fascinating questions that researchers from the Water Economics, Policy and Governance Network (WEPGN) have been studying, and answering over the past several years. Much of their research is communicated in conferences and in academic publications. WEPGN partnered with the Canadian Water Network (CWN) to bring these research stories to life and make this information accessible to everyone online and in a user-friendly format.
The CWN connects resources, people and knowledge to ensure that industry, government and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) can access and apply the right solutions to address their water challenges. Communicating the latest water research in direct and accessible formats lies at the heart of CWN’s approach to water research.
With funding and assistance from the CWN, WEPGN researchers and students from across the country distilled their projects into the essential details and the lessons learned, and matched these with creative design and photography. The result is a series of eye-catching reports that effectively communicate the latest science and research findings from WEPGN researchers. Moreover, these reports provide valuable experience in research communication for students and other junior researchers who are employed to author the reports under the direction of supervising WEPGN PI. The summaries are all available in full on our website (by project) as well as the CWN website.
